NEXTEP is currently in discussions with a number of potential partners and users on four continents to either sell them the nextep licence or partner including:

• Several energy and carbon funds ( US and Europe)
• US Army facilities
• US community colleges
• US hotel chains
• International Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)
• A major energy user in Mexico City
• A leading Asian meter and EMS manufacturer
• An energy consulting and Engineering firm in Africa

2006

France: Sipperec awards its Electricity Management and Analysis contract to NEXTEP

Sipperec, facility manager for 86 municipalities in the greater Paris has awarded a 3 year contract to NEXTEP to manage and monitor its overall electricity consumption. Sipperec also needs NEXTEP to develop an electricity use data base to be used as a basis for issuing competitive supply tenders. It is a first in France for municipalities to set up such a dynamic tool at the level of multiple locations and with the capability to develop real time indices of usage with remote meter access.
